Our People

We recognise that our people are our greatest asset. We value and celebrate the great passion and experience they have in operating and maintaining the DLR safely. We encourage all our people to ‘think like a customer’ and put them first in delivering service excellence every day, in everything we do.

All our people, from our customer-facing teams through to our engineers and support service teams, play a crucial role in running the DLR. So, whatever you’re looking for, we could be the company for you.

“When I joined the company in 2018 as a Passenger Service Agent, I had my first real exposure to operations. I knew I wanted to advance in my career and switch from a customer-facing role to an engineering role. I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave engineering a try - and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. KeolisAmey Docklands supported me throughout. They funded my diploma, and gave me time to learn on the job.” - Bhavishka Seewoo, Principal Track Technical Officer.

“Working at KeolisAmey Docklands has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Everyone here is always happy to help if they can or point you in the right direction if they can’t! I’ve really appreciated the balance KAD offers, not just in terms of work-life flexibility, but also in how it has helped me grow professionally while still nurturing my personal life. It’s a place where you can feel established, valued, and empowered to develop.” - Morgan Hager, Safety Learning and Innovation Lead (HSQE).

“I love working for KeolisAmey Docklands because it is more than running a railway; it is about making a real difference in people’s lives. I have been supported with reasonable adjustments, including dyslexia friendly software, which helps me bring my best self to work. I am proud to work with a team that has a heart and to collaborate with inspiring external partners. KAD has given me opportunities to grow my confidence, develop new skills, and take on new challenges in a safe and supportive environment." - Catrina Lynch, Community and Stakeholder Manager

It's been just over a year since I joined KeolisAmey Docklands, but it feels like I have been here for a long time, and that is mainly due to the people I work with, who have made me feel valued and listened to. I have been given the freedom to suggest and implement improvement initiatives for the Beckton Depot. The rolling stock team's vast experience and knowledge have been an invaluable source of support, enabling me to do what I do.  I have led the 'In-House Repair Centre' project, which has started to bring a positive shift in change culture."- Nashar Sultan, Project Manager (Continuous Improvement)
